Three individuals, all Bangladeshi men, were apprehended for unlawfully occupying an unoccupied residence in Sepang. Sepang OCPD Asst Comm Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof confirmed the arrest, stating that it was made in response to a report that had been filed in Terengganu. According to the official, the suspects, who range in age from 21 to 30, admitted to staying in the dwelling for a span of two months.

Police speculate that the trio managed to gain entry by breaking the lock of the house and installing one of their own, per the OCPD. The illicit activity first came to light when an acquaintance of the property owner took notice of the foreign occupants in the residence, which had been unoccupied for an extended period of time. Additionally, a social media post indicated that the landlord currently resides on the east coast of the peninsula.
