PUTRAJAYA: The Sepang district police headquarters in Malaysia experienced a break-in on Friday (July 28), resulting in the disappearance of items linked to narcotic cases. Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan confirmed the incident to Bernama on July 30 and informed that no arrests have been made thus far.
Investigation is currently underway, with the case being examined under Section 457 of the Penal Code. The police report indicated that the exhibit store had been ransacked and various case items, along with a bag containing a laptop containing important data, had gone missing. The report also highlighted that the closed circuit camera at the scene had been damaged and was non-functional.
The incident has gained attention after going viral on social media platforms. Authorities are taking necessary measures to rectify the situation before furthering the investigation.
