S'gor govt expects approval to demolish Shah Alam Stadium in November, says MB

According to the Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, the planning permission to demolish the Shah Alam Stadium and replace it with the state-of-the-art Shah Alam Stadium Complex (SASC) is expected to be issued in early November. Once approval is given, demolition works will commence, with the target of completion set for 2026. The information was shared by Amirudin Shari during the Selangor Property Expo 2023, organised by the Selangor Housing and Property Board (LPHS) on September 30.

The Selangor government has reportedly submitted a planning permission application in June to demolish the dilapidated stadium and develop the sports complex at the same location.-
