An Indian teenager in Bagan Datuk who has struggled with oversized feet has received assistance to purchase appropriate footwear, according to a report from Makkal Osai.
Gajendran Vikraman, age 16, suffers from an unknown condition that has made it challenging for him to find shoes that fit. As a result, he has often attended school without footwear, as explained by his father, Vikraman.
Vikraman, who is partially paralyzed, expressed difficulty in providing for the family’s basic needs and affording the specialized shoes for Gajendran, which cost RM1,500 per pair.
In response, Hutan Melintang assemblyman Wasanthee Sinnasamy visited the family’s home in Kampung Sungai Sumun and contributed RM2,000 to assist in purchasing the required shoes for the teenager.
