PETALING JAYA: The Ministry of Education has announced that the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) exams for 2023 will take place from January 8 to March 7. The speaking test for Bahasa Melayu will be held from January 8 to January 11, while the speaking test for English will take place from January 17 to January 23. Furthermore, the Bahasa Melayu and English hearing tests are scheduled for January 29, and the written exams will be held from January 30 to March 7.

The Ministry mentioned that a total of 395,870 candidates have registered to sit for the SPM Year 2023 examination in 3,340 examination centers nationwide. It also stated that 129,635 examination officers have been appointed to ensure the smooth conduct and management of the exams.

Candidates are advised to refer to the examination timetable for information on the Examination Board (LP) website via lp.moe.gov.my. They are also reminded to bring identification documents and their Examination Registration Statement to the exam center. Additionally, candidates must comply with the standard operating procedures and rules set to ensure the smooth management of the SPM exam Year 2023.
