PETALING JAYA: Photos on the Subang Jaya City Council’s (MBSJ) Facebook page have exposed the shocking extent to which some foreigners have turned a pedestrian bridge into their ‘home’.

The images show pillows, chairs, and mattresses neatly lined along the bridge’s metal grill, with towels and clothes draped over the handrail.

Additional photos depict the bridge after the removal of these items.

“The Subang Jaya City Council has taken strict action against foreigners who turned the pedestrian bridge into their sleeping place by seizing all the items and cleaning the area,” stated a post dated on Thursday (Oct 10).

The council also encouraged residents to report their complaints to MBSJ via its website at or contact enforcement through WhatsApp at 019-220 7823.
