KUALA LUMPUR: Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), Datuk Dr Mohd Na’im Mokhtar, emphasizes the importance of Muslims mastering various fields of knowledge for a successful life.
He adds that with the rapid evolution of technology, Muslims should use wisdom to carry out good deeds and avoid activities that cause disunity.
In his speech at the national-level Maal Hijrah Celebration 1445/2023, Mohd Na’im encourages Muslims to unite and build a strong identity based on the spirit of migration.
Mohd Na’im believes that with perseverance and sacrifice, Muslims can contribute significantly to the success of Malaysia Madani agenda.
He believes that the unity among members of the Ummah is essential, drawing inspiration from Prophet Muhammad SAW’s migration.
While the migration of Prophet Muhammad no longer takes place in modern times, the concept of migration remains relevant.
Mohd Na’im urges Malaysians to “migrate” and become exemplary members of society, while avoiding prejudices that fuel enmity and hatred. – Bernama
