MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong expressed his shock and sadness over the unexpected passing of Selangor MCA chairman Datuk Ng Chok Sin. In a Facebook post on Sunday (Aug 27), Dr Wee appointed Chok Sin as the Selangor MCA chairman in 2018 and praised his commitment to leading the party in the state and protecting the people’s interests. He highlighted Chok Sin’s previous roles within the party, including serving as Selangor MCA secretary, MCA central committee member, MCA Youth deputy secretary, and Selangor MCA Youth treasurer-general.
Chok Sin also contested in the Sungai Pelek constituency under Barisan Nasional in the 2013 and 2018 general elections. Dr Wee acknowledged Chok Sin’s loyalty to the party through various challenges and expressed his gratitude for his sacrifices and contributions. He concluded his statement by offering condolences and wishing Chok Sin eternal rest.
