The Sungai Musah bridge on Jalan Tekait-Musah, located approximately 21km from Song town, has been closed to the public. This closure is a result of the damage caused by soil erosion in the area. The bridge, which spans 166 meters in length, was found to be damaged around 9.30pm on Thursday (Sept 21).

Katibas Assemblyman, Lidam Assan, visited the site last night and confirmed that the road has now been closed to all vehicles. Warning signs have also been placed in the area to alert people of the closure. When asked about the situation on Friday (Sept 22), Assan mentioned that the State Public Works Department will be inspecting the bridge to determine the cause of the damage and decide on the appropriate action to be taken. The news was reported by Bernama.
