According to reports, a couple in Kuala Lumpur was found dead, allegedly stabbed by their son following a dispute at their home in Kampung Sungai Penchala.
The elderly pair, aged 72 and 82, were discovered in the living room drenched in blood.
Sources indicated that an argument took place between the victims and their 42-year-old son, who is suspected to be a drug addict.
It is believed that during the argument, the son grabbed a sharp object and attacked his parents.
Those who heard the commotion contacted the authorities, and the police subsequently arrested the suspect.
The Kuala Lumpur police chief, Comm Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid, verified the double homicide, stating, “The suspect is the victims’ son, and we are investigating under Section 302 of the Penal Code.”
