PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong hosted a delegation from the Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) on Tuesday (July 25) led by president Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian, who is also Sarawak Deputy Premier.
Dr Wee, who is MCA president and Ayer Hitam MP, said other MCA leaders join the lunch reception to interact with their SUPP counterparts.
“MCA leaders including deputy president Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon, secretary-general Datuk Chong Sin Woon, vice-president Datuk Tan Teik Cheng, Datuk Seri Ti Lian Ker and Youth chief Nicole Wong were all able to join us for the lunch reception,” he said in a Facebook post.
“SUPP Youth Chief and Sarawak Deputy Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government II Michael Tiang and SUPP Wanita Chief and political secretary to Sarawak Premier, Kho Teck Wan were also present.”
Dr Wee said both parties, being part of the unity government, have many opportunities to collaborate with each other to uphold the interest of the people.

Dr Wee emphasized that as both parties are part of the unity government, they have numerous opportunities for collaboration to safeguard the people’s interests.
