KUALA LUMPUR: The Pilgrims Fund Board (Tabung Haji) has cautioned its depositors and the general public about being vigilant and not easily swayed by offers that promise high returns through questionable investment schemes.
In a statement released today, Tabung Haji (TH) warned that there are unscrupulous individuals employing tactics such as advertising investment schemes on popular social media platforms like Facebook and TikTok with the intent to deceive the public.
The statement further highlighted that these advertisements redirect users to the WhatsApp application as a way to further deceive the public by tempting them with promises of significant and quick profits.
“We urge TH depositors and the public to always stay alert to the tricks employed by scammers,” the statement read.
For any inquiries, TH depositors and the public can contact the Tabung Haji Contact Center (THCC) at 03-62071919. — BERNAMA
