Teen cyclist knocks into house wall after being chased by a dog

A 14-year-old boy cycling in Ipoh suffered injuries after colliding with a wall while being chased by a dog. The incident occurred at Taman Rapat Permai around 11:30 am on Sunday, August 20, prompting the boy’s father to lodge a police report at the Kg Rapat police station.

The victim’s injuries included a broken shoulder bone that necessitated surgery. He informed his father that while riding his bicycle home, he was pursued by the dog until he crashed into a nearby house’s wall. The dog fled the scene after the collision.

According to Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Yahaya Hassan, the homeowner denied ownership of the dog. A complaint has been filed with the Ipoh City Council regarding the incident.
