A teenager lost her life after accidentally falling from the 12th floor of a condominium in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur.
The Wangsa Maju OCPD, Supt Ashari Abu Samah, released a statement stating that the police were informed about the incident at 8:20 pm on August 29. Upon arriving at the scene, the police discovered the body of the victim, a 14-year-old foreigner, on the ground of Block B in the condominium. The victim had suffered head injuries and was declared dead at 8:40 pm by paramedics.
The victim had been residing in Malaysia for eight years along with her mother and sister, while her father was currently in Bangladesh.
After conducting an investigation, authorities concluded that the victim fell from a balcony, and no evidence of foul play was found.
The incident has been categorized as a Sudden Death Report.
