KUALA LUMPUR: A car accident occurred near the Kajang toll plaza, resulting in the driver being trapped in the vehicle while two passengers were ejected. The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department was informed about the incident at 5.07am on Thursday (Nov 2), according to Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, assistant director of the department. A team of firemen from the Kajang fire station promptly responded to the scene. The male driver was successfully rescued within four minutes of their arrival,” he stated in a press release on Thursday.
The driver suffered a foot injury, while the two passengers were identified as a man and a woman in their thirties. They both sustained minor injuries when they were thrown out of the car during the crash. “All three victims have been handed over to the Health Ministry personnel for further medical attention,” Ahmad Mukhlis added.
