SIBU: Tragedy struck on Sunday (July 16) when an accident on Jalan Deshon claimed the lives of three individuals, while leaving one person severely injured. The incident occurred when their four-wheel drive vehicle lost control and collided with a tree, ultimately plunging into a drain, according to Sibu Fire and Rescue Department chief, Andy Alie.
Alie further added that the distress call regarding the accident was received at 11.35am on Jalan Deshon. Tragically, two men and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, while an adult female sustained critical injuries and was promptly rushed to the hospital for medical care.
