    According to the Works Ministry, road users in private vehicles will be able to travel toll-free on highways on April 8 and 9 in celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri. The ministry announced that the Cabinet had made the decision to implement toll-free travel for Class 1 vehicles on all highways across the country from 12.01am on April 8 until 11.59pm on April 9.

    During this period, there will be no toll charges at all plazas except for Bangunan Sultan Iskandar (BSI) and Tanjung Kupang in Johor. The ministry stated that the toll-free travel initiative is expected to cost approximately RM37.6 million.
