In Seremban, a tragic road accident claimed the lives of a married couple on their way to work at a factory in Senawang. Aswan Sulaiman, 29, and his wife Nur Khairunnisya Samsudin, 23, had been looking forward to returning to their hometown in Sabah to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri, but sadly, their plans were cut short when their motorcycle collided with a car driven by a 19-year-old college student on Persiaran Forest Heights.

The young couple, who had a young daughter named Aisy Najah, were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Nur Khairunisya’s father, Samsudin Basirun, shared that his daughter had been eager to surprise her husband’s family in Sabah after over a year without visiting them.

Upon receiving the devastating news from the police, Samsudin expressed shock and disbelief at the sudden loss of his daughter and son-in-law. He recounted their last morning together for sahur at their home in Taman Pelangi, noting their reluctance to part ways on that fateful day.

Assuring that he would take care of his granddaughter, Samsudin found solace in the fact that his wife had a close bond with the young girl and would continue to look after her. The heartbroken grandfather expressed gratitude for the support they have received during this difficult time.

Meanwhile, Seremban district police chief ACP Mohd Hatta Che Din disclosed that the investigation revealed the car involved in the accident was waiting to turn at a junction when the couple’s motorcycle collided with it. The impact caused severe head injuries to the husband and wife, leading to their tragic deaths on the spot.
