Tragedy struck in Kuala Lumpur as a 12-year-old boy lost his life after allegedly falling from the 12th floor of a flat in Cheras on Thursday afternoon. The incident occurred on March 7, and it was a horrifying event for those who witnessed it.
Cheras OCPD Supt Ridzuan Khalid shared that the young victim was discovered unconscious on the grass below the flat by members of the public at 1:52pm. The severity of the situation was evident as the medical officer from Tuanku Muhriz Chancellor Hospital (HCTM) who arrived at the scene, confirmed the boy’s unfortunate passing. The authorities were on the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
According to Supt Ridzuan, preliminary investigations did not indicate any signs of foul play in the tragic incident. As such, the case has been classified as a sudden death. However, further inquiries will be carried out by the police to gather more information and understand the sequence of events that led to the boy’s fall.
