Two men died and three victims were injured in a car accident that occurred in the middle of the night. The incident took place along Jalan Bukit Impian-Senai and was reported at around 3.15am on Tuesday (Oct 31), according to Kempas Fire and Rescue Department operations commander Wan Nor Affendi Wan Yusof.
The crash caused all five victims to be trapped in the car, as stated by Wan Nor Affendi. To free them, 20 firemen were deployed to the scene and used rescue tools. Sadly, two of the victims, aged 20 and 23 years old, were pronounced dead at the scene by a medical officer. Their bodies have been handed over to the police for further action.
Wan Nor Affendi also mentioned that one of the surviving victims sustained severe injuries, while the other two had minor injuries. All three of them were sent to Hospital Sultanah Aminah for medical treatment.
