Two killed in accident involving two trailers and a four-wheel drive on highway near Ipoh

IPOH: Two men lost their lives in a tragic accident on the North-South Expressway (NSE) between Tapah and Gopeng. The accident occurred at Kilometre 317.5 on the northbound lane and involved a cement trailer and a trailer carrying watermelons. A four-wheel drive vehicle was also involved in the collision, and its driver sustained injuries.

The Perak Fire and Rescue Department revealed that the fatal incident occurred when these three vehicles collided. According to their statement, both drivers of the trailers sadly passed away at the scene.

The injured driver of the Ford Ranger four-wheel drive, identified as a woman, was promptly rushed to Tapah Hospital for medical treatment, as stated by Bernama.
