In the Semporna district on Sunday (April 7), two individuals have disappeared while attempting to leave an estate on foot.
The Sabah Fire and Rescue Department reported that the two individuals initially departed the estate in a car.
Unfortunately, the car’s tires became stuck in a muddy area, forcing the pair to exit the vehicle and proceed on foot.
Upon realizing that the duo had not reached the entrance, a coworker sought help, suspecting that they may have lost their way.
At 7:12pm on Sunday, a distress call was placed, prompting a search operation to be launched.
The search and rescue mission is currently underway, with the Fire and Rescue Department’s operations room working to verify information about the missing duo.
