KOTA KINABALU: Two children are believed to have drowned in a river in the Keningau district on Monday (Oct 2).
The incident took place at Kampung Lingkudou River where Azila Jabar, 12, and her younger sister, Arlina Jabaraged, nine, were. At 5:07 pm, a report was received regarding the incident.
Authorities have initiated a search and rescue operation to find the missing children.
“Information will be provided periodically,” stated a spokesperson from the Fire and Rescue Department.
