Corporate Communication is an essential department within any organization, responsible for managing internal communication and activities that promote the organization’s identity, reputation, and branding. The Bachelor of Corporate Communication (Honours) offered by Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) is a longstanding program under the Faculty of Creative Industries (FCI). Upon completing the degree program, students demonstrate the capability to develop corporate communication plans that advance an organization’s vision, mission, and objectives. They are also skilled in crafting media releases, campaign proposals, and other corporate materials that enhance an organization’s image and reputation. The program stands out for including two entrepreneurship courses that hone entrepreneurial skills and improve collaboration effectiveness. Additionally, it offers an option for a Massive Open Online Course through edX, a renowned online education platform.

The success of UTAR’s Corporate Communication graduates is evident as many have climbed the corporate ladder and secured C-suite positions in multinational organizations. The program instills the right attitude, knowledge, skills, and executive presence needed to add value and transform the corporate landscape. The Bachelor of Corporate Communication (Honours) at UTAR is fully accredited by The Malaysian Qualifications Agency, and students complete the program in three years, including a three-month internship for practical experience.
