Renowned newscaster Raymond Goh, who is well-known for hosting TV3’s Nightline news bulletin, is currently in critical condition.

Goh, who is a patient at Assunta Hospital in Petaling Jaya, suffered a stroke according to one of his students, Abdullah Pak Lah.

Expressing his admiration for Goh’s nature, Abdullah took to Facebook on Wednesday (Aug 30) to say, “One of the nicest and kind-hearted souls I have ever known.”

Meanwhile, Goh’s former colleague Datuk Ras Adiba Radzi has also requested prayers for his recovery.

Recalling their time as news anchors for TV3, Datuk Ras Adiba mentioned Goh’s current critical condition: “As I type this now, Raymond is in ICU and fighting for his life. May I ask that you say a prayer for him, please,” she posted.

With over 30 years’ experience, Goh is a respected news anchor and has provided training and coaching to individuals on effective communication.
