PETALING JAYA: Raymond Goh, famous for hosting TV3’s Nightline news bulletin, has passed away on Tuesday (Sept 12) from complications of a stroke.

In a statement, Goh’s family announced that funeral prayers will take place at Masjid At-Taqwa in Taman Tun Dr Ismail following the Asar prayer, and his body will be laid to rest at the Bukit Kiara Muslim Cemetery on Tuesday.

“Once again, Raymond’s family would like to express their gratitude to all his friends and supporters for the overwhelming love and support during this difficult period,” said Faridah Teh, Goh’s wife, and his family in the statement.

Goh, also known as Mohd Zaman Goh after converting to Islam, started his career as a newscaster on the 7 o’clock news before becoming the anchor of TV3’s Nightline news bulletin.

The veteran newscaster, with over 30 years of experience, also provided training on effective speech delivery.
