IPOH: Datuk M Daud Kilau, a well-known singer, passed away at the age of 85 in Teluk Intan Hospital on Monday (Dec 18) at 4:40 pm.
His grandson, Hasnor Ikram, shared the news of his death on Instagram, expressing his condolences.
“My grandfather, Mohd Daud Kilau, has just passed away. May he rest in peace,” he wrote.
The singer, also known as “Raja Gelek”, had been dealing with a variety of health issues, such as diabetes and heart problems.
His funeral will take place at the Sungai Balah Baroh Muslim Cemetery in Bagan Datuk following the Zohor prayers on Tuesday (Dec 19). – Bernama
