Viral video of accident involving cop, motorcyclist is an old clip, says the police

IPOH: Supt Mohd Hasni Mohd Nasir, the Mualim OCPD, clarified that a video clip showing a motorcyclist colliding with a police officer’s motorcycle was an old incident that took place on April 26 and was unintentional. The police officers were responding to a report of an accident at the Pos Bersih Orang Asli settlement in Slim Village when the incident occurred. While en route, they asked a group of local residents for directions and, accidentally, a motorcycle ridden by a villager hit the back of their motorcycle. Fortunately, no damage was caused, and the matter was resolved amicably.

Supt Mohd Hasni Mohd Nasir urged the public not to make unfounded speculations or form negative perceptions of the police force, as doing so could damage the image of the PDRM (Royal Malaysian Police Force). He shared this statement in response to a viral video of the incident that garnered negative comments on social media.
