THE school board of SJK (T) Ldg Coalfields is hoping that a planned visit by Selangor caretaker chief minister Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari will help gazette the school properly, Malaysia Nanban reported.
According to board chairman Francis Raju, the school relocated to a new building and location in 2019.
However, there are still numerous improvements that need to be made.
Currently, the school in Sungai Buloh is still registered under the contractor, which has resulted in the school being charged a commercial rate for its electricity supply by TNB.
The board has made many attempts to resolve this matter but these have failed, leaving the school in limbo, he said.
Francis said the student numbers are expected to increase further, and the facilities must be upgraded to keep up.
