A group of individuals dressed in white shirts has arrived at Masjid Jamek in Kuala Lumpur for the Save Malaysia rally march to the Sogo shopping centre. The participants have been instructed to wear white shirts for the march and subsequent gathering. More people were seen entering the mosque to pray as the azan for Zohor began. It is expected that the group will commence their march after the prayers. The police have been present at the mosque since 11.30am.
According to recent reports, a total of 22 police reports have been filed against the rally. Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain stated that the reports consist of complaints from business owners, members of the public, and non-governmental organizations. He expressed his belief that such protests could disrupt public activities and urged all parties to respect Malaysia Day. Tan Sri Razarudin Husain also called for the public to refrain from participating in the rally.
