By Janani K: Bollywood star Bobby Deol is all set for his South debut in the upcoming film ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’, alongside Power Star Pawan Kalyan. Excitingly, Deol has now been roped in to play the main antagonist in ‘Kanguva’, starring Suriya. It is reported that his portions will be shot in Bangkok starting next month. However, an official confirmation is still awaited.
BOBBY DEOL TO PLAY SURIYA’S VILLAIN IN ‘KANGUVA’
Earlier this year, Bobby Deol signed his first South film, ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu‘. However, the Telugu movie had to be put on hold due to Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments.
While waiting for ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ to resume, Deol has landed another significant project. He will take on the role of the main villain in director Siruthai Siva’s ‘Kanguva’. Next month, Deol will join the team in Bangkok to shoot his portions for the film.
Enthusiasm surrounds Deol’s inclusion in the cast, though fans eagerly anticipate an official confirmation. Additionally, cinematographer-actor Natty AKA Natrajan Subramanian is set to play one of the villains in the film.
ALL ABOUT ‘KANGUVA’
Directed by Siruthai Siva and written by Adi Narayana, ‘Kanguva’ is a period drama. The first glimpse of the film was unveiled on Suriya’s birthday on July 23, receiving high praise for its visuals and Suriya’s performance.
Alongside Suriya, the star-studded cast includes Disha Patani, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, and KS Ravikumar in pivotal roles. Produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, the film features music by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy, and editing by Nishadh Yusuf.
