Belly Conklin (Lola Tung) and Conrad Fisher (Christopher Briney) start season 2 in a romantic relationship. However, after a year, they are no longer together and Conrad’s mother, Susannah (Rachel Blanchard), has passed away. Flashbacks show the changes that occurred over the year. Episode 1 follows Belly struggling with Susannah’s death and her falling grades, while reminiscing about her past with Conrad and Jeremiah. Conrad gives Belly an infinity necklace as they part ways. Steven graduates as valedictorian and goes viral on TikTok. Belly attends Steven’s graduation party, flirts awkwardly, and reminisces about her past with Conrad. Steven and Belly have a heated argument. Belly drives home, encountering memories of Conrad. Laurel lectures Belly about her grades and responsibilities, but they both come to an understanding. Belly finds out Conrad is missing and decides to help find him. In episode 2, Belly and Jeremiah search for Conrad, addressing their strained relationship along the way.
