Our summer signing from Chelsea, Mason Mount, made his mark in the friendly against Leeds, impressing with his creativity and work-rate. From the start, he caught the eye with flashes of brilliance.
In the early stages of the first half, Mount displayed his vision with a sublime pass out wide, resulting in our first real chance of the game. Both Amad and Hannibal had attempts at goal, thanks to his exceptional playmaking skills.
But that wasn’t all. Later on, Mason showcased his aggressive pressing skills, which helped him regain possession. He then unleashed a delicate chip from a distance, coming agonizingly close to putting us in the lead.
