The news of his arrival spread quickly, with fans gathering outside the airport and Inter Miami’s DRV PNK Stadium, hoping to catch a glimpse of their idol. The excitement is palpable, as supporters dressed in replica shirts and even brought cardboard cutouts of the legendary forward.
In the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami, dedicated fans showed their anticipation by chanting and clapping for Messi in front of a large mural of him. This mural, created by Argentine artist Maximiliano Bagnasco, was given the finishing touches by none other than Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham himself. The energy surrounding Messi’s arrival is reaching fever pitch.
Inter Miami has announced a “major unveiling event” scheduled for Sunday, where Messi and former Barcelona teammate Sergio Busquets are expected to be formally presented to the public.
