Lionel Messi is set to make his MLS debut with Inter Miami in a few days, but he has already made a big impact in the United States with his own chicken sandwich. In a promotional video with the Miami-based Hard Rock Café, Messi introduced his signature sandwich, dubbed the “Milanese” style, which is inspired by the popular South American chicken dish that Messi enjoyed as a child.
Messi arrived in Miami on Tuesday ahead of his MLS career with Inter Miami. It has been reported that Messi and his former Barcelona teammate Sergio Busquets will be officially unveiled as the newest players for Inter Miami in a ceremony on Sunday. Messi is expected to make his Inter Miami debut in a Leagues Cup match against Mexican club Cruz Azul on July 21.
