Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is on the verge of joining Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq in a £12 million deal.

WHAT HAPPENED? Henderson will join Gerrard’s team after Liverpool agreed to a £12 million deal, The Athletic reports. Henderson was not included in Liverpool’s friendly against Karlsruher.
THE BIGGER PICTURE: Henderson is set to earn around £700,000-per-week in Saudi Arabia, following the trend of English players moving to the Middle East.
AND WHAT’S MORE: Henderson’s teammate Fabinho is also in talks with Al-Ittihad for a £40 million deal.
