Rapper Latto took immediate action after becoming the latest victim of unruly concert etiquette. During one of her recent festival appearances in Germany, she stood her ground after someone threw an object on stage while she was performing her song “Put It On Da Floor.”
In response, Latto threatened the person into the microphone, saying, “Want your ass beat? Throw it again.” She repeated her warning, matching the sing-songy tone to the racy beat of her track.
A fan-captured video of the confrontation has gone viral online, highlighting Latto’s comedic approach to this dangerous trend. Pop stars like Bebe Rexha, who was hit in the eye with a cell phone during a concert in June, and Drake, Harry Styles, and Kelsea Ballerini, who have also been targeted by flying objects, have experienced similar incidents.
Latto’s response has been the most heated confrontation so far. Adele, during a recent show for her Las Vegas residency, also addressed this issue. She warned the crowd about people forgetting show etiquette and throwing things on stage, jokingly saying, “I fucking dare you to throw something at me and I’ll fucking kill you,” while waving a T-shirt gun.
