The highly anticipated release of the Nothing Phone (2) has finally been announced. Nothing, the global tech company, unveiled the Phone (2) on the international stage. If you have been waiting to get your hands on the Phone (2), you won’t have to wait much longer. It will be available in Malaysia starting from July 14th, 2023.
Nothing Malaysia has confirmed that the Phone (2) will be launched in Malaysia on Friday, July 14th. The phone will come in two storage options: 256GB and 512GB, both with 12GB of RAM. Malaysia is among the first countries to release the Phone (2), and it will go on sale from July 15th onwards at Crossover Mid Valley, starting from 10am.
The Phone (2) will be more widely available starting from July 22nd on the official Nothing store on Lazada and Shopee, as well as through retail partners such as Yes 5G, DirectD, TMT, Urban Republic, Tac Mobile, and Vivid Concepts.
While the exact price has not been confirmed yet, it is estimated to start between RM3,000 and RM3,500. In the US, the base model of the Nothing Phone (2) starts at USD599 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However, this model will not be available in Malaysia.
Instead, Malaysia will offer the 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB models of the Phone (2) at prices of USD699 (~RM3,255) and USD799 (~RM3,721) respectively. This makes it significantly more expensive than the original Phone (1). Looking at the prices in neighboring countries, the starting price for the Phone (2) also falls within the RM3,000 to RM3,500 range:
