Nothing Phone 2: Price, Release Date, and Specs Revealed
Nothing, the tech company known for its unique approach to Android devices, has officially announced the arrival of the Nothing Phone 2. With several preannounced details about the handset, the big news today is the Phone 2’s price and release date. Priced at $599 (£579 / €679), the Phone 2 offers improved specifications and will be available for purchase in the US. Preorders start today, and the phone is set to be released on July 17th.

The Nothing Phone 2 comes in different variants. The base model starts at $599 and offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There are also higher-end models available, offering 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for $699, and 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for $799. Compared to the previous model, which started at £399 (€469), the Phone 2 comes with a substantial price increase.
Improved Specifications
The Nothing Phone 2 retains the unique features that made its predecessor stand out, such as flashing light strips and a dual-camera setup. However, the Phone 2 offers improved specs, including a faster processor, a larger battery, and a bigger screen. The flashing Glyph interface now supports more lighting zones, allowing for more granular effects. Additionally, the Phone 2 introduces new features such as “Essential Glyph Notifications” and “Glyph Composer,” which enhance the device’s customization options.
Enhanced Battery Life and Camera
The Nothing Phone 2 boasts a 4,700mAh battery, offering a 200mAh increase compared to its predecessor. It also supports fast-charging at up to 45W and wireless charging. On the camera side, the Phone 2 features a 50-megapixel dual-camera setup and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The device offers improved image signal processing, better HDR, and enhanced video recording capabilities.
Availability and Updates
