French climber Remi Lucidi has tragically passed away in his recent attempt at falling from a high-rise building in Hong Kong, according to reports. His lifeless body was discovered outside an apartment block located in the Mid-Levels area of the city.

The 30-year-old adventurer was renowned for his daring exploits and had gained a substantial online following by sharing breathtaking photographs taken from tall structures around the world. Unfortunately, his latest endeavor proved to be fatal.

Reportedly, Lucidi gained unauthorized access to the apartment block by deceitfully claiming to visit a friend on the 40th floor. Instead, he used the elevator to reach the 49th floor and then made his way to the top floor using the stairwells.

Around 7:30 PM local time, Lucidi attempted to gain entry to a penthouse on the 68th floor by knocking on the window. However, the domestic worker inside grew suspicious and refused to let him in, ultimately leading to his departure.

Tragically, shortly after this incident, the police received a call regarding a gas leak in the building. Upon arrival, they made the grim discovery of the lifeless body of the young climber outside the high-rise. It appeared that the fall had caused a gas pipe to break, adding to the devastation.

Initial investigations conducted by the Hong Kong police suggest that Lucidi likely fell from a ledge. No suicide note was found at the scene. Instead, authorities discovered his French identification card and a sports camera containing footage of some of his previous extreme sports activities.
