What are the rankings of all the Yellowstone series?
A TV series was created in 2018 by Taylor Sheridan, leading to one of the most captivating small screen universes to date, rivaling its big screen counterparts.
We’re talking about Yellowstone. Taylor Sheridan combined elements from the best Westerns and old-fashioned soap operas, making history. The Yellowstone cast is well-known and the Yellowstone timeline continues to grow.
But there are still some who haven’t watched Yellowstone yet, and may be intimidated by the spin-offs and interwoven stories. Luckily, we’ve watched every episode and ranked them from worst to best.
Every Yellowstone series ranked from worst to best:
3. 1923
1923 may not be the best TV series of the bunch, but it’s still better than the worst. Despite the star power it boasts, Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, it falls short compared to other Yellowstone spin-offs.
The performances are good, but none of the characters stand out. The show stands out for its setting against advancing technology and the switching between the Montanan mountains and the wilds of Africa.
However, 1923 feels distinctly different from the other Yellowstone shows. It lacks focus and spreads the family’s legacy far and wide.
2. Yellowstone
The flagship show became a phenomenon for a reason. High drama, explosive personalities, and ongoing storylines make it the world’s coolest tourism video for Montana.
Each character is memorable and distinctive, yet part of a larger collective. The dialogue is like a verbal fist pump.
Yellowstone is never dull. Every episode leaves you wanting more with its exploding meth labs and absurd forgotten plotlines.
1. 1883
1883 is the shining jewel in Yellowstone’s crown. It takes us back in time to when the Duttons first set out across the Great Plains. This series offers genuine stakes and focuses on Elsa, the young Dutton daughter.
Gone are the gruff monologues of men, replaced by the soft ramblings of Elsa. It’s a tale of sexual awakening and longing for adventure, acknowledging the Western genre for women.
The flaw of 1883 is the overused narration by Elsa, when the visuals and performances speak for themselves.
There’s more to come from this world, so we’ll update as new shows are released. For information on upcoming shows, check the release dates of 6666, Lawmen: Bass Reeves, and 1923 season 2.
