(Reuters) – Bitcoin saw a decline of 4.91% to reach $25,957 at 21:45 GMT on Thursday, resulting in a loss of $1,341 from its previous closing price.
This drop represents a decrease of 18.4% for Bitcoin, the world’s largest and most well-known cryptocurrency, when compared to its year-high of $31,818 on July 13.
Ether, the cryptocurrency associated with the ethereum blockchain network, also experienced a decline of 3.57% to reach $1,644.4, resulting in a loss of $60.9 from its previous closing price.
