US-based OpenAI has announced the release of DALL-E 3, the latest update to its intelligent image generation tool. The tool will now be integrated into ChatGPT Plus, OpenAI’s premium conversational agent, to provide users with an even better experience.
DALL-E is a platform that converts text into images, and OpenAI claims that DALL-E 3 will offer more nuanced, detailed, and contextualized image generation compared to its current version.
The integration of DALL-E into ChatGPT Plus comes with several benefits. First, it makes this technology accessible to a wider audience, allowing more people to explore the creative possibilities of DALL-E. Moreover, ChatGPT can assist users in writing precise and appropriate prompts to enhance the image creation process.
Even without expertise in image generation, users can ask ChatGPT to refine their requests or provide additional details to optimize the image output.
It is important to note that DALL-E 3 will not be capable of generating images featuring public figures mentioned by name in the request. Additionally, the program has been trained not to create images inspired by the styles of living artists. This development follows a lawsuit filed against Midjourney, another image generator, which allegedly used copyrighted images to train their models.
DALL-E 3 is scheduled to be available in October for ChatGPT Plus subscribers. However, the release date for the free public version has not been announced yet. – AFP Relaxnews
