(Reuters) – Elon Musk’s Twitter stock purchases are now the subject of an investigation by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), as stated in a court filing on Thursday.
The regulatory body is seeking a court order to compel Musk to comply with a subpoena for testimony.
The filing revealed that despite agreeing to testify, Musk failed to appear as required.
