FRANKFURT (Reuters) – Germany’s telecom network regulator said on Friday that it was communicating with French authorities regarding a Europe-wide resolution for radiation concerns associated with Apple’s iPhone 12, which led to France suspending sales of the model earlier this week.
Apple subsequently announced that it would release a software update for iPhone 12 users in France to address the issue.
The regulator did not provide further details or indicate if the European solution would involve a software upgrade.
