A young Chinese girl has captured the attention of social media users in China with her thoughts on housework and marriage. The girl, named Fan Zhiyuan, was filmed helping her mother with household chores when she expressed her desire to have a husband who would not make her do housework. The mother, who remains unidentified, was initially concerned about her daughter’s enthusiasm for housework and wanted to impart a lesson. In a video clip filmed by the mother, Fan can be seen washing dishes in the kitchen while her mother starts a conversation with her.

The mother asked Fan if she thought she would be exhausted from doing housework when she gets married. Fan, who’s exact age is unclear, responded by saying she enjoys doing housework in her family but will be lazy when she gets married. She said she wants a husband who will love her and not be like her mother’s husband, who she believes doesn’t care for her. The mother burst into laughter without saying anything and Fan continued washing the dishes.

Later, Fan looked at her mother with a big smile and said, “My dear mother, the daughter you have is so great, isn’t she? Because I love you.” The mother agreed and acknowledged that despite not having a good husband, she has an amazing daughter.

Fan also explained that she believes her mother has a sweet daughter because she named her and every time her mother calls her name, she feels loved. This heartwarming story touched the hearts of many on Chinese social media.

Comments on the video praised the girl for showing her love for her mother through her actions. One commenter remarked, “Oh sweet girl, she shows her love for her mother by her action,” while another called her a clear-headed girl. This story is just one example of adorable young children gaining popularity in China.

In a similar viral video, a two-year-old boy in eastern China was seen using a toy tractor to help his grandmother harvest corn. Another video featured a little girl in northeastern China standing up to her mother’s incessant lecturing and insisting that home is a place for love. Both videos resonated with online viewers.

Overall, Fan’s perspective on housework and marriage has struck a chord with social media users, highlighting the changing attitudes towards gender roles in Chinese society.
