Twitter experienced a widespread outage on Wednesday, leaving thousands of users unable to access the platform, according to outage tracking website Downdetector.com. Simultaneously, OpenAI revealed that its popular chatbot ChatGPT was also inaccessible for a majority of users. Downdetector reported nearly 6,000 incidents of individuals encountering issues with the Elon Musk-owned social media platform. The website collects status reports from various sources, including user-submitted errors, to track outages.
