In Oregon, a woman caused a commotion at a McDonald’s drive-thru after demanding a DoorDash order. According to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place on Friday, November 3, in Troutdale at around 3.30am.
Accompanied by another woman and four children, the 20-year-old showed up at the drive-thru and asked McDonald’s workers if they had a DoorDash order for pick up. DoorDash is an online food ordering company that uses delivery drivers to pick up food from restaurants and deliver it to customers through their app.
When the employees informed the women that there was no such order, they left. However, they later returned and insisted on receiving their DoorDash order, refusing to leave when denied. One woman got out of the car and approached the drive-thru window, shouting, cursing, and threatening the employees. The situation escalated when she partially crawled into the window, causing a disturbance.
As a result, the woman was arrested on charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct. Additionally, the 30-year-old driver of the vehicle was also arrested and charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants and four counts of recklessly endangering another person.
Troutdale, where the incident occurred, is located about 15 miles east of Portland.
